Curated by Alexandra Tolstoy herself, the fair gathers a considered selection of independent, artisanal makers — the kind of gifts, fashion, interiors, accessories and lifestyle finds that reward a slower browse rather than a hurried scroll.

It is a world away from the conventional London Christmas market. There are no funfair stalls or mulled wine queues here — instead, a single elegant room at The Sloane Club filled with the sort of small, thoughtfully made pieces that make genuinely good presents. As the exhibitor list for 2026 is confirmed, expect a mix of fashion, jewellery, interiors and food to browse, with the emphasis firmly on craft and provenance over volume.

The garden also hosts one of Chelsea’s best-loved seasonal fixtures, the Chelsea Physic Garden Christmas Fair, held over four days each late November. Set among the glasshouses and winter borders, the fair brings together more than 100 independent stallholders — think cosy knitwear, handmade jewellery, homewares, and one-of-a-kind wreaths and table decorations crafted by the Garden’s own Growing Friends collective — alongside mulled wine, hot chocolate and seasonal treats from the on-site café.
